The
fully inclusive cost of this trip is
$33,756 (excepting
July and August)
10.30 am Arrive on board and be greeted
to a champagne reception, after a safety
briefing we set off on our trip. We have
two alternative Tours available and the
best will depend on the wind direction
and the sea state. We
head east bound for Cala D´or, on the way we stop at
the lovely beach of Es Trenc, where we swim and use the water sports
equipment, after a nice lunch prepared by our resident cook we set sail
for our overnight stay at the lovely marina of Cala D´or.
This is one of the nicest marinas on the island and there are a number
of boutiques and shops to look around .
Dinner
can be taken on board or at one of the
lovely restaurants overlooking the boats.
In the evening why not walk around the
marina and take a drink at one of the
bars which surround this pretty port.
For those wishing to stretch the legs,
there are a number of clubs for dancing
open till the early hours.
After breakfast served on the sun
deck, we set off for a cruise south calling
in
at a number of lovely coves and calas.
We stop for lunch and a swim along the
way and visit the lovely fishing port of
Cala Figuera.
Later
in the afternoon we begin our journey
to our overnight anchorage at the lovely
islands of Cabrera. This is a nature
reserve where a permit is required to
stay the night. It is a blissful place
and totally unspoilt. There is a castle
open to visitors and a little cantina
where you can get a beer.
We eat dinner on board to the sound of water lapping against the side
of the yacht whilst we listen to music from the Bang & Olufsen sound
system. After dinner why not enjoy a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi – Hot
tub. What a perfect end to a wonderful day.
After breakfast we leave the anchorage
and cruise around the islands before beginning
our return trip towards Palma.
On
the way to Palma we stop off to look
into the pretty little cove of Cala Pi,
if there is room for us, we might get
chance to drop the anchor here for a
swim.
We
stop for lunch on the way and later arrive
back on our berth in time for you to
leave the yacht back on our berth at
Palma at 4pm.
Please
note that this tour relies on us being
able to get the permit for Cabrera, we
shall give the authorities a choice of
the first or second day for our arrival,
so the tour might have to be done in
the opposite direction.
10.30 am Arrival on board to a Champagne
reception, after a safety briefing we set
off on our trip. We head west passing the
little
island
of El Sec, we look into the lovely cove Portal Vells, here we anchor
for a swim and lunch. After lunch we leave the anchorage and look into
various bays along the way, Cala Fornels and Camp de Mar, the home of
Claudia Schiffer.
We
arrive at our overnight berth at Puerto
Andraitx. This is a lovely harbour with
lots of little restaurants and shops.
Dinner can be taken on board or at one
of the nice restaurants.
After breakfast we set off on our
journey, passing the large island of Dragonera,
you can see why it is named after a dragon
with its spikey backbone. We now head north
up the coastline which is spectacular,
with the cliff face over 1000 metres high
in places, there are some little fishing
hamlets dotted along the shoreline which
we pass on our way to our lunch stop at
Port of Valldemossa or at Sa Fordada. After
lunch and a swim we continue our journey
to the natural harbour of Puerto Soller.
Here we anchor for the night. The
Pôrt of Soller has a lot of history, being
the target for many Pirate raids, and each year
there is a big festival to remember a particular
bloody battle between the Arabs and Christians.
Along the sea front runs a little tram, which has been running since
the 1930s and is well worth a trip on. The tram takes you on a short
journey up through the back gardens of the little houses, right up into
the lovely mountain
village of Soller.
Dinner is served on board whilst you watch the sun setting over to the
west. After dinner why not relax in the Hot tub- Jacuzzi.
Mornings
in Puerto Soller are in my mind the best
time of day, this sleepy place is slow
to rise and is one of the special places
in the mediterranean. The early morning
light is what brings poets and painters
to this area of Mallorca and once you have
woken up at anchor here, you will see why.
After breakfast and a swim we set out on
our journey back towards Palma. We stop
for lunch and a swim on the way arriving
back at the berth in Palma in time for
you to leave the yacht at 4pm.
